What’s more annoying than being on a trip to a foreign country and just remembering you left something important back home and have no way of retrieving it until the end of your trip? Well, a lot of things really, but it’s still annoying nonetheless.
Depending on how important the item is, it can ruin your otherwise great experience (unless or until you can spend some money to buy a replacement to deal with it).
It’s even worse when you’re on medical trip to have a plastic surgery because you would be more focused on your surgery and tend to forget things that aren’t directly related to it, depending of how stressed you are on planning your surgery.
To help you out, here’s a checklist to help you prepare for your plastic surgery trip.
1. Comfortable clothes
During your recovery process, you will feel uncomfortable for a while. Comfortable clothes will help to minimalize that problem and let your body ‘breathe’ comfortably.
2. Extra pillows or a neck pillow
It’s also really nice to have an extra pillow and/or neck pillow in your recovery. Because post operative recovery can be irritating, you need all the extra comfort you can have, and sometimes hospital pillows just don’t cut it quite enough, especially when you need extra care for specific part of your body (like neck for example).
3. Skin moisturizing gel
Normally you aren’t allowed to take a shower for a while after surgery, which can cause your skin to dry. For this reason, it is important to carry a skin moisturizing gel for your lips and skin.
5. Wet wipe and facial oil blotting paper
Not being allowed to take a bath has the added problem of making your face look dull and oily. So, aside from skin moisturizing gel, you also need facial oil blotting paper.
It’s also a good idea to have a wet wipe as substitute for water and soap cleansers to wash your hands when you are in area where they aren’t available.
