RHINOPLASTY

Nasal surgery or commonly known as rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure performed to improve the shape and structure of the nose. Both for reconstruction and aesthetic purposes.

Who are the right candidates for Rhinoplasty?

People who have the want to change the shape of their nose in order to improve harmony of their face.
People with a bad nose structure that results in the respiratory system

Operation Duration: estimated 60 minutes

Type of Anesthesia:

Open Rhinoplasty: General anesthesia
Closed Rhinoplasty: Local anesthesia

Preoperative Preparation:

Initial consultation with the doctor, convey the result you want as clear as possible.
The doctor will analyze the shape of the patient’s face and the size (and width) of the patient’s nose.

The doctor will then explain the risks that may occur after surgery and the type of anesthesia that’s gonna be used used.
Patient will be required to tell the doctor his/her medical history and whether or not the patient has had any surgeries in the past.
Patient is also required to tell the doctor if he/she is currently receiving medication or is taking any drugs.

Operation Process:

There are 2 types of rhinoplasty:

Open Rhinoplasty: An incision is made in a vertical strip of skin that separates your nostrils. This action aims to make it easier for the doctor to see all the inside of the nose.

Closed Rhinoplasty: An incision is made inside your nose. This operation is classified as a small operation and the scar is not visible because of its location inside the nose.
